The Palace of Parliament is that huge ‘house of the people’ built in Bucharest during the last years of dictator Ceausescu – and even a few years after. It is the heaviest building in the world, the second largest administrative building (after the Pentagon) and host to the Parliament and several museums. Wikipedia will tell you much more.

Indeed it’s impressive. So far the Senate seemed the most elegant part for me – but there is still so much more to explore. Have you seen any of the museums in there? I’m planning for future visits.
